Queens Harbour’s grand opening party became the stuff of Toronto social media legend — mermaids, caviar bumps, and a chef carving sashimi straight from the belly of a whole bluefin tuna, all under the restaurant’s massive retractable roof. Now, the 23,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant is opening a version of that same experience to anyone willing to buy a ticket.
The new event series, called Deep Sea, isn’t quite a dinner and isn’t quite a nightclub night — it’s closer to an immersive, all-inclusive experience blending food, drink, and live entertainment across Queens Garden, the venue’s open-air dining terrace beneath a second-level mezzanine with its own retractable roof. Series 1 launched July 9, anchored by UK-based melodic deep house duo HotLap and Miami electronic DJ Amal Nemer, with additional surprise DJs and live performances layered in throughout the night.
Ticket holders get unlimited access to a genuinely stacked lineup of food and drink stations: live yakitori grilling, fresh pasta, matcha, a sushi station complete with a bluefin tuna carving ceremony, passed canapés, two full cocktail bars, a Moët Champagne lounge with dedicated caviar service, an oyster shucker, a Rémy Martin XO cigar station, and even a Red Bull bar for guests who need a second wind. Early bird tickets started at $200, with tiered pricing increasing as the event approached.
Future Deep Sea dates haven’t been locked in yet, but the series is expected to return sporadically throughout the year, with each edition building around a different creative concept.
