Why did you become a bartender?

I fell into bartending after returning back to Canada after school. I started as a server and eventually worked my way up .

What made you want to work at the bar at which you’re currently bartending?

I had always been in a more upscale, small town restaurant industry and when 44 was hiring the idea of working in a face paced , city nightclub sounded like such an exciting change .

What are some fun flavors you’re working with?

Pineapple based mixed drinks are so popular right now and I love suggesting it with coconut flavours.

What’s popular right now in the mixing glass or shaker for your customers?

We are currently partnering with Ciroc and I am loving our passion love shooter at the moment and it’s extremely popular.

What are you sipping on and why?

It all depends on my mood, but I normally drink crown and ginger or Honey Jack Daniels and sprite. Both have a refreshing taste to them and makes for the perfect drink to have all year round.

What are you dancing to while tending bar?

Beyoncé’s Renaissance, please and thank you.

What are some quirks/quotes you are known for?

I think I am most known for helping my regulars with love advice. That’s usually where my friendships start with customers. I am usually called mom in the work place.

Whats the most memorable thing to happen to you while at work?

Every shift has some sort of memorable , crazy story. That’s what I love most about this industry, it’s always changing , every day is different and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
