The brothers, often referred to as key players in shaping Toronto’s current social landscape, built their reputation on a philosophy of creating unique, one-of-a-kind experiences that disrupt the market and keep customers coming back.

1. The Launchpad: &Company Resto Bar (&Co) (Opened 2011)

Their major breakthrough came in 2011 with the opening of &Company Resto Bar in Mississauga. At an impressive 11,000 square feet, the venue was designed to fill a significant void in the suburban city, offering a large-scale, high-end combination of a restaurant, event space, and nightclub. This project established them as serious entrepreneurs with the vision to execute complex, multi-faceted hospitality concepts.

2. The Creative Secret: Figures Toronto (Opened 2017)

In 2017, they moved into the high-end Yorkville neighbourhood to launch Figures Toronto. This venture perfectly embodied their commitment to novelty.

Concept: It was conceived as a sophisticated, comic book and superhero-themed speakeasy resto-lounge, deliberately avoiding the feel of a “Rainforest Cafe.”

The Experience: Guests enter through a small retail space selling comic memorabilia, with the main entrance hidden behind a secret door opened by pressing a button shaped like Captain America’s shield. The dining experience itself is refined, but complemented by nostalgic touches like “TV dinners” served in classic trays. Even the bill is presented inside a vintage comic book that guests are encouraged to take home, sometimes with a surprising resale value.

3. The King West Staple: Regulars Bar (Opened 2018)

The following year, in 2018, they opened Regulars Bar on King Street West. This venue quickly became a staple and a major celebrity hotspot in the city, hosting figures like Drake, Shawn Mendes, and Snoop Dogg.

Design: Its decor was award-winning, blending inspiration from 1920s gambling halls and casinos with the raw, urban edginess of nearby West Queen West.

Status: It cemented their reputation for owning and operating some of the most sought-after and influential bars in the city.

4. Continued Growth: Silent H (Opened 2022)

Their commitment to the King West entertainment district continued with the launch of Silent H in 2022, introducing a high-end Mexican dining concept to their portfolio.

🌿 The New Frontier: Coterie Cannabis (Launched 2021)

While dominating the food and beverage industry, Patrick and Nader identified an opportunity in the emerging legal cannabis market.

The Brand: Launched in 2021, Coterie is their premium cannabis brand.

Ethos: Consistent with their hospitality roots, the brand’s mission is centered on community and shared connections, focusing on curating a sophisticated, yet uncomplicated, experience for both seasoned connoisseurs and newcomers.

Innovation: Coterie has also emphasized sustainability, using environmentally conscious, 100% home compostable packaging. They also launched apparel collections that celebrate community and art, aligning the brand with local creatives.

💼 Diverse Ventures

In addition to their hospitality and cannabis ventures, Patrick and Nader have branched into diverse fields.

Fashion: They launched the Dust of Gods fashion line, which features wearable bespoke art.

Food Franchise: They has co-owned A&W chain restaurants across the GTA.

Creative Agency: Powering this diverse empire is their own multidisciplinary creative agency, the engine behind the distinct visual identities of their ventures.

Other Industries: they have also launched businesses in the construction and personal care industries.

In summary, Patrick and Nader Marzouk’s journey is one defined by entrepreneurial versatility, a relentless focus on experiential luxury, and the ability to translate a distinct creative vision into market-leading brands.
