THE GOLD PLATE AWARDS TO DEBUT AT THE TORONTO NIGHTCLUB AWARDS – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7 AT SILENT H TORONTO
Toronto, ON — November 17th — The esteemed Gold Plate Awards, recognized internationally for honouring excellence in hospitality and culinary achievement, has announced that a selection of its first Canadian recipients will be revealed at the Toronto Nightclub Awards taking place Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 9 PM at Silent H in Toronto.
Founded more than 25 years ago, the Gold Plate Awards celebrate restaurants, supper clubs, and hospitality innovators from around the world who demonstrate culinary creativity, consistent quality, and an exceptional guest experience. Under the leadership of Richard De Sousa—long-time producer of the Toronto Nightclub Awards and now head of the Canadian division of the Gold Plate Awards—this marks the beginning of the Awards’ Canadian journey, starting in Toronto. “I’m truly honoured by the Gold Plate Awards committee for trusting me to help showcase what Canada has to offer and I feel our diverse cultures that make up our demographic places us at the top of culinary experiences from anywhere in the world.”
