When Kramer’s Bar & Grill closed its doors in Davisville Village in the summer of 2025, it marked the end of a beloved neighbourhood era. But as it turns out, the team behind Kramer’s wasn’t stepping away from the restaurant industry \u2014 they were quietly preparing something far more ambitious: not one, but three new restaurants in three completely different Toronto neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

First out of the gate was Blue Horse Cucina in Etobicoke, an Italian restaurant inspired by the team’s heritage that opened in December and has already exceeded expectations. “Winter is usually a tough time to open anything, but the dining room filled up quickly, and we found ourselves hiring sooner than expected just to keep up,” owner Christian told blogTO. “There’s been something really special about the Queensway; people have been warm, curious, and incredibly supportive.”<\/p>

Next in line is the Eatery \u2014 a modern Italian bar food concept that promises to echo the communal energy of Kramer’s while pushing in a new direction. The team is aiming to open it in time for the World Cup, positioning it perfectly as a summer destination for sports fans who want good food and a great atmosphere together.<\/p>\n

Completing the trio is a rotisserie concept currently deep in renovations, with a planned opening to follow the Eatery. Three restaurants, three neighbourhoods, one extraordinary year \u2014 it’s the kind of expansion story that Toronto’s food community rarely gets to watch unfold in real time.<\/p>
